Q: What is your hiring process?
A: All applicants for contract or contract to hire positions must complete an application and interview with one of our local Solutions Specialists and watch a brief orientation / safety video prior to being considered for an assignment. Creating your resume or cover letter on our website does not satisfy this requirement nor make you a legal employee of our agency. All applicants must provide documentation proving that they are eligible to work in the United States and may be asked to submit to a drug test and reference and background checks.

Q: When I am on an assignment for one of Peak Employment Solutions’ client companies, who is my employer?
A: Regardless of which of PEAK’s customers you work for, PEAK is always your legal employer- if you are working as a contract and contract to hire employee. Your PEAK representative is your contact for all work assignments or employment issues.

Q: How long will my assignment last?
A: Generally- as long as YOU make it last! Your attitude, demeanor, attendance, work ethic and work skills will have a lot to do with your success while in our employ. Assignments may range in length from one day to six months or longer. Some are simply Direct Placements, where you will become an employee of our client right away.

Q: What should I do if my job duties while on my assignment are different than those that were described to me?
A: Please notify your PEAK representative immediately, especially if safety is a concern.

Q: What should I do if or when my assignment ends?
A: Be sure to contact the PEAK office IMMEDIATELY when your work assignment ends so we may consider you for a new assignment.

Q: What is the policy if I'm unable to report to work, reporting late or plan to leave early?
A: If for any reason you must be late, absent or unable to complete your shift as scheduled, you must notify PEAK as soon as possible. This permits us to meet our customer's needs by sending a replacement.

Q: When should I submit my time slip?
A: All time slips must be turned in by 10:00 A.M. Monday morning, for the preceding week, in order to be paid on Friday of the same week.

Q: When can I expect to be paid?
A: Payday is Friday of the week you submit your properly filled-in time slip (if Friday is a holiday, then payday will be the preceding Thursday).

Q: What should I do if I am injured while on assignment?
A: If an accident occurs and you are injured while on the job, call your PEAK representative or safety coordinator immediately! You are employed by Peak Employment Solutions and covered by Peak Employment Solutions’ Workers' Compensation Insurance. We must be notified immediately so that we can make sure you are given care and attention at the proper medical facility.

Q: Am I eligible for benefits through Peak Employment Solutions?
A: Peak Employment Solutions offers a health insurance program and other benefits to all contract and contract to hire employees who have been in our employ for a minimum of 30 days. You will be given this information upon hire by our agency.

Q: What is Peak Employment Solutions Referral Bonus Program?
A: PEAK offers a referral bonus for each qualified employee referred to our agency. Contact your PEAK representative for more information about effective dates and conditions.

Q: What is Peak Employment Solutions’ Safety/Attendance Bonus Program?
A: PEAK has an ongoing safety and attendance incentive program. We reward those employees who take their personal safety and attendance seriously. PEAK EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS is the only staffing agency in the nation to be a member of the STAR PROGRAM™- a National Employee Incentive Program designed to reward those employees who display a positive awareness of the importance of great attendance and safe work habits!
